Took 2 scoops of wired and didn't really feel anything especially for the price of $62. Wont be buying another jug. The energy and the pumps weren't there like Super Pump 250. Everybody is different though.

I bought PhD Wired because it was on a good cheap offer and I thought all pre-workout supplements were pretty decent - unfortunately not the case! PhD Wired's main ingredient is creatine monohydrate - with 5g per serving so it does take care of your creatine requirements. Wired also contains the BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine and valine) as well as glutamine (250mg) but in these small amounts it seems pretty pointless - and certainly not really related to what I would expect from a pre-workout supplement.

The two things that I would definitely expect in a pre-workout supplement that Wired does have are caffeine and arginine - and 200mg caffeine and 250mg arginine are reasonable amounts but not outstanding. Wired does also contain DMAE as an interesting ingredient as it is known for increasing energy, but to be honest I think a few pro plus / shots of coffee would be almost as effective as PhD Wired as a stimulant, and including the full 5g of creatine in a pre-workout supplement seems strange as most people that take pre-workout supplements will probably already take creatine in some form, so this is more off-putting than anything.

There are other supplements in this sector (not least PhD V-MAX Pump!) which are much better pre-workout supplements than this, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this product phased out fairly soon!

What Does PhD Wired Do?

PhD were insistent that PhD Wired contain as few sugars as possible. Using exclusively sugars like dextrose or sucrose prior to exercise maybe okay in the short-term, for exercise lasting 45 minutes, but for those long, gruelling sessions, sugars may only result in a blood sugar crash. PhD Wired was designed with only:
