I have started taking phd synergy recently and I think it is 99% there to being the best all in one on the market. The only thing it appears to be missing is that it only contains 2.5g creatine per serving. This means if you want to only take it once per day you aren't getting enough creatine - I know I should stop being a skinflint but it is nice to save a little cash in these economic times!!

Phd Synergy is the ultimate all in one supplement - it TASTES nice, MIXES well and has the same ingredients as maximuscle cyclone which costs TWICE the amount! Thank you PHD for helping me put on some muscle after years of trying!!

PHD synergy is a really nice alternative to maximuscle cyclone, it tastes better and the profile of phd synergy seems to make much more sense - you get 5g creatine per DAY instead of per SERVING which is all you need in a day. Also seems high in BCAAs, Glutamine and Protein and pretty low in Carb-ohydrates so doesn't make you fatter.

synergie tastes great - chocolate cookie flavour is my personal favourite but the others are good too my friends say.
also you will add toned muscle by using synergie for only 2 weeks i know this sounds crazy but i have been training for months now and its only since starting synergie that i make real gains!!
oh only problem is the price is sooooo high!!!!

I admit this is my fault for not checking but I assumed this would be the same spec as EVERY other all in one where you don't have to take TWO servings every day to get the full amount of creatine (5g) recommended. What the hell? What a joke of a product!

PhD Synergy is a hugely popular all-in-one supplement, and is designed to be taken twice a day - hence the 2.5g of creatine and glutamine per serving; when doubled up this accounts for the recommended 5g of both creatine and glutamine. PhD Synergy also contains a roughly 2:1 ratio of protein to carbs - ideal for those on a 'lean gain'. There is also a 'testosterone boosting' element to PhD Synergy with methoxy-isoflavone and ZMA.
So with that overview does it work? Well the simple answer is yes - Synergy is popular for the reason that it is arguably better than Maximuscle Cylone, the market leader and considerably cheaper per serving. Synergy is also the best tasting product in this market segment, certainly far better than Cyclone and Omni-MX which are the other leading all-in-one lean gain supplements.
With regards to muscle growth it is important to realise that this is NOT a weight gainer and you cannot expect to put on huge amounts of muscle with so few carbohydrates; what PhD Synergy will give you if you work out properly is good lean gains over a sustained period of time. Also I wouldn't pay too much attention to the 'testosterone boosting' compound within Synergy as these are much better taken alone - ZMA for example isn't absorbed properly when taken with calcium - or in other words when taken with whey protein! In summary, PhD Synergy is a great all-in-one supplement if you are looking for lean gains or put on fat easily, but if you are looking for quicker muscle growth then you may be better off with something like Sci-MX Omni Hardcore or MET-Rx Size Up.
