I don't know why anyone would pick another whey protein this is 83% protein - higher than any other - and tastes brilliant, mixes well (a little gritty but not too bad) - a great all round protein. If you check around the 'net you can find the 10lb bags pretty cheap as well

Just trying gold standard whey this month - it costs almost a tenner more than my usual biox whey but I fancied a change.
First impressions are that I've made an expensive mistake - if it makes more of a difference over the course of a month then I might change my mind but so far it tastes worse - nowhere near as rich and creamy as Biox whey complex, it mixes a little gritty and of course it costs loads more!!
I will come back and write another review if I make better gains in terms of muscle gain but otherwise I'm going to change back to biox whey complex once this tub is gone!!

I always stick to Optimum Nutrition for my protein - this really IS the gold standard when it comes to protein, don't believe all the little companies, ON are the biggest around.
I've tried this in loads of flavours and they are all good - the only slight issue I have is the price and that the mixability isn't as good as some other shakes, but at least with ON I know that the protein IS at the right levels and its not just easy mixing sugars!!
My advice? Get this in chocolate and I'm sure you won't regret it!!

I really like the optimum nutrition blend - its mainly whey isolate which makes it a good blend - most brands use a cheap whey concentrate mainly to save on costs.
There are about a dozen flavours of this and I can personally say the chocolate and strawberry flavours are the ones I'd recommend.
The consistency is nice, a little thick but obviously you can adjust the amount of water you add into it.
