METRX supreme whey is OK but nothing special, I always end up buying it though cause its so cheap compared to anything else around you can pick it up under £35 compared to every other brand £40. If you don't know what flavur to go for - chocolate is reliable but bland, vanilla is horrible and strawberry is the best flavour, nice and sweet.

Third whey protein I tried and the worst!! Found Syntha6 to be real nice (cookies and cream mmmmm!!) and put on a few kg in a couple month with it.

Sci-MX whey I tried but it was expensive - no nice but around the same as syntha6.

Thought I could get somethin cheaper and still be as nice but even tho it was a tenner cheaper this stuff tastes like ass and I really struggled to get it down me :(

Defo get a sample of this before you try it or I guess if you can just neck it that might make it worthwhile...

not the best tasting whey (i prefer the reflex instant whey) but pretty decent. it can be found pretty cheaply and mixes well so i can't complain.

basically yeh if you don't mind the taste i guess this is a good choice but there are nicer ones out there

Marked this down a star for taste because the strawberry flavour is bloody HORRIBLE!! Feel free to think of this at 5 star if you stick to banana and vanilla!!

So yeah effective, high protein and mixability is just about spot on - reliable and effective from MET RX :)

Great product not like the new 'sweet' protein products that are popping up and claiming high protein on the label.

I use all 4 flavours of this on a regular basis and buy in bulk so it usually only costs about 30 quid a tub. Well cheaper than most others and really does the job - simple and effective.

On a separate note I'd like to say that METRX meal replacements are great too - much prefer the 'old school' style of supplements, not this new 'diet whey' and all that bollocks.

I got this pretty cheap so I wasn't expecting a huge amount from it taste wise and on that front it didn't disappoint - I got Vanilla flavour and it tasted a lot like unflavoured whey! However apart from that this is an absolutely top notch whey protein product with over 70% protein comprised of whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate.

MET-Rx Supreme Whey is also very high in the branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) compared to most protein shakes out there which is a great thing. I found that when using this whey protein I got leaner and more muscular and didn't suffer from much in the way of muscle aches, top notch and despite the taste I will stick with this!
